What Would Happen To Us?

A reading for Friday, October 2, 2020: Acts 27:39-44.

"...but the centurion, wishing to save Paul, kept them from carrying out their plan."

It's clear from the story that Paul has endeared himself to his captors. His care and compassion for others, his devotion to his faith, and his commitment to carrying out his mission is inspiring. Julius risks a great deal to save Paul.

What if we put ourselves in the place of Paul. What would happen to us? The good news is we have the model and mentor of Paul to inspire us too. Thanks be to God.
