ACTS IN 90 DAYS

A reading for Wednesday, July 1, 2020: Acts 12:6-19.

"He motioned to them with his hand to be silent, and described for them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison."

There is no limit to the lengths God will go to ensure the mission continues. Peter would not be held in prison, but would be delivered in a miraculous way. When news of his escape with an angel's help reached the other disciples, the power of God was made real.

We wonder if such things happen in our time, but know this... When the mission of God is at stake, the power of God will be made real. Thanks be to God!
