A reading for Monday, June 22, 2020: Acts 10:1-33.

"Now while Peter was greatly puzzled about what to make of the vision that he had seen, suddenly the men sent by Cornelius appeared."

We all start our day with expectations. We think we know or maybe want what will happen today? We can even find joy or frustration in a day that either meets or doesn't meet our expectations.

Cornelius and Peter both started the day not expecting at all what would happen. Both men would be changed profoundly by the end of the story. God had another plan, different from their expectations.

What is your plan today? Are you open to God having something different in mind for you? Sometimes our expectations stand in the way of something amazing God has planned for us. Thanks be to God!
