Simply in Christ
A reading for Tuesday, April 11, 2017: Luke 21: 5-18.
Our trust is not in the Temple, or in any religious structure.
It's not in leaders, those that claim to have all the answers to all our questions.
Our trust is not in nations, or wars between nations.
It's not in our ability to control the natural world or to predict with science and technology.
Our trust is simply in Christ, the One sent from heaven by God to save us.
Because of Jesus Christ, "not a hair of your head will perish."
