Remember The Power of The Gospel
A reading for Wednesday, April 19, 2017: 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.
"For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes."
The power of the gospel is not to be found in guns or weapons of any kind. That's the power of empire, used by the few against the many, which is only to destroy and control.
The power of the gospel is discovered in the simplest of meals, when all the many followers of Jesus gather around His table together expressing their hope for all in the Kingdom of God.
The resurrection proves once and for all whose power is greater!
When you gather around your table today, remember the power of your gospel...
