Sometimes... And Other Times!
A reading for Friday, February 10, 2017: Deuteronomy 24:17-22.
Sometimes when reading scripture, it's hard to discern just exactly what our mandate as Christians and God's people is to be. There is room for interpretation...
Then there are other times when it's clearly written in black and white...
Our scripture lesson today and our mandate is clear concerning how we are to treat the alien, the orphan and the widow.
Jesus said, "For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished." (Matthew 5:18)
