The Story of Your Life

A reading for Tuesday, November 15, 2016: Isaiah 25:1-10a.

The truth is our hope in the Gospel has not changed in the last two weeks.

The world was still created to be a good place; very good in fact.

The fall still describes the human condition in all the ways we are insufficient.

Jesus Christ has still saved us and has given us the redemption that we didn’t deserve or earn, but nevertheless received. (That's the image of Isaiah's prophecy in today's lesson.)

And finally the restoration of our world still remains as our calling and the ultimate goal of our Christian vocation. As Presbyterians, we believe every vocation is a Christian vocation.

This is the story of your life that is worth putting your trust in...
