Never Too Young!
A reading for Thursday, November 3, 2016: 2 Chronicles 34:1-7.
In our world, thankfully, we do not show our devotion to God by destroying the faith of others. However, in the ancient world absolute devotion to God and a purity of such belief for a kingdom or a tribe of people was paramount. This is what Josiah is after in our lesson today...
Which just goes to prove that we are never too young to do something important for faith. Josiah was just 16 years old when he purified his people and returned their devotion to God. We are never too old either, by the way, to do something important.
Age is not a determining factor for faith. God working in us is!
