Leadership In God's Eyes
A reading for Friday, October 21, 2016: 1 Samuel 16:1-13.
If we could view the world the way God sees it today, the world would be a little closer to the Kingdom than it is today.
The prophet Samuel was instructed not to choose the king measuring good looks or stature or strength. "The Lord looks on the heart." Those that are pure in heart and obey God will be chosen, and only the chosen by God to lead will be anointed.
It's a different measure for leadership... Are we asking "Is this the leader God would anoint for us?"
