What About Our Song of Praise?

A reading for Tuesday, October 27, 2015: 2 Samuel 22:1-16.

If the Lord our God could rescue David from Goliath and the Philistines. If God could save him from violence, and death, and the "cords of Sheol," well then...

Does our God not have the power to rescue us from the anxiety and stress that afflicts us? Is God silent when we fume and fret over the small details of our lives? Will God not be " my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior" as God was for David?

Perhaps a song of praise is in order in our lives too?
