Solomon Asked for Wisdom
A reading for Thursday, October 29, 2015: 1 Kings 3:1-15.
What would you ask for if you could have anything? Would you ask to win the lottery? How about to be President of the United States? (I think not...) How about the perfect spouse, or model children? Maybe you say, like the pageant contestants say, I would ask for world peace. If you could ask God for anything, what would it be?
