Care, Forgiveness, and Obedience
A reading for Monday, June 1, 2015: Luke 17:1-10.
Jesus offers these instructions to the disciples:
Be Careful! Watch what you are doing so that you can be faithful witnesses, leading others into a life of faith, and not leading them astray. New believers are always watching you...
Be Forgiving! Always, and relentlessly forgive one another. No matter how many times someone sins against you, if they are willing to own their sin and repent, we must forgive them. We must...
Be Obedient! You are doing what God has placed upon you, and the power you have for faith comes from the Holy Spirit. You do not need heroic faith, or more faith than before. We only need to do what we are commanded and the blessings of our God will be ours...
These are the teachings of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Care, Forgiveness, and Obedience... The gifts of God for the people of God.
