Moving Fast Now
A reading for Wednesday, April 1, 2015: John 12:27-36.
Things are moving fast now. It seems as if Holy Week just started with Jesus arrival into Jerusalem. But already Jesus is troubled by what is to happen. If Jesus is troubled, how much more should we be troubled. Watch and pray. Pray for faithfulness. Listen for the voice of the Almighty. It comes like thunder.
Things are moving fast now. Trouble is on the horizon. The light is fading and soon darkness will overtake us. If Jesus is the light we have so longed for, then cling to the light for as long as possible. Pray for the light. We cannot know where we are going, only who goes with us. Jesus is the One.
