Easter Sunday and Easter Monday
A reading for Easter Monday, April 6, 2015: John 14:1-14.
Because God has made space for us in the universe, creating a place for us where we might dwell, enjoying the peace of Easter forever...
We are called to make space for God in our hearts and in our minds, in the busyness of our day, and in the purpose we commit ourselves to.
Because Easter Sunday is a day for fanfare and celebration, the high holy day at church, where the pews are full and the smiles abound, the day for the abundance of food and family, rest and joy...
We can dwell in the ordinary and everyday of Monday, knowing the peace we have enjoyed, and dedicating our lives to God who has done so much for us.
Because of Easter Sunday, we can truly live on Easter Monday...
Thanks be to God!
