Healing
A reading for Wednesday, January 14, 2015: Mark 1:29-45.
Healing is the visible presence of God given so that we might know that we are not alone on the journey to the Kingdom of Heaven.
It is what sustains us when sin threatens to overcome us and sweep us away. We will not be overcome.
Healing is what comforts and makes life more peaceable, for us and especially for those we love. We pray for healing...
If you have ever experienced feeling better after being sick or known someone who has recovered from an illness or infirmity, you know a little of the joy of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus Christ came to heal. We are grateful.
