Out They Come
A reading for Friday, September 26, 2014: Luke 4:31-37.
"What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us?" says the demon that afflicts the man in the synagogue.
Even the evil that continues to dwell in the world around us knows the mission of God... to create, redeem, sustain, govern and transform all people and all things.
"Out they come!" says those that witness the power of Jesus to deal with anything and everything that afflicts us. Out they come...
