Who Tests You?
A reading for Wednesday, June 11, 2014: Matthew 16:1-12.
I don't know any Sadducees or Pharisees. What about you?
In the story, the Sadducees and the Pharisees were the ones that tested Jesus. What is today's teaching, as in the teaching of the Pharisees and the Sadducees, that we are to beware of according to Jesus?
So that we are not deceived by those that cannot interpret the times, our only hope is to trust in the grace and mercy of Jesus and the mission of God. Still... who tests you?
Lord, deliver us from all that test our faith and come against your mission of peace. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear your goodness in love. That we might live for you!
