Your Choice...
A reading for Monday, April 21, 2014: Mark 16:1-8.
Easter Monday
The writer of the gospel of Mark intends that a choice be made. A choice based on Easter must be addressed by each of us...
Having experienced God's love and grace in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, the joy of the church and the saints of God, what will we choose to do?
The women who go to the tomb and discover that Jesus lives have this same choice. Mark says "they went out and fled from the tomb, for terror and amazement had seized them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid."
Will we go out from Easter and say nothing to anyone because we are afraid? Or will we go out and tell others what we have seen and heard? He is risen!
Your choice...
