Goodness is found in many ways in the Bible. The goodness of children. The goodness of laying hands on those in need of prayer. The goodness of the commandments?
Jesus calls the young man to adhere to the goodness of the commandments. These are the ways God offers for life. If you want to be granted life and given it abundantly, then follow the commandments. Even these will lead to a life of goodness and love.
